Travis Kunze – Blog

My name is Travis Kunze, I live in Northeastern Wisconsin, recently graduated Highschool and am pursuing Music, Film, and Programming interests. I am a born again believer in the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross. I believe that He came to save the world from our sins that would else-wise send us to an eternal Hell.

My passion since I was a young child was to a musician. I play Guitar, Piano, and Drums. Guitar is the instrument that I am the best with although I do continue to grow with Piano and Drums. I currently play with the Worship Team at the Church that I attend. While music is my dream, passion and what I believe God has lead me to pursue I also enjoy Film Making, and Game/Software Development and mingle with this in my spare time.

I am hoping to be able to attend the School of Worship in Kenosha, WI in the next year or two. I also believe God is leading me to outreach and evangelism which I am involved with at the Church that I currently attend. If you feel that God is leading you in this way and would like information on how you can get involved in a outreach program in your area please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you. I believe for evangelism we have to know what we are talking about. Not only be able to quote scripture but show them exactly where in the bible it says these things. As Christians when reaching out to people we tell them there options are Heaven and Hell and we focus on the benefits of Heaven, but we fail to tell them the truth about the alternative of Hell. As Christians we need to show them in scripture exactly what Hell is like according to scripture. This may not work to reach everyone, but they have the right to know, and even though we may not get the results we are looking for right that moment when reaching out to people, we do know that the thoughts have been placed in their head, and when they think about it, that will allow the Holy Spirit to convict them. We must remember it is not our place to Judge or Convict, but to make people aware so that the Holy Spirit can do His job of convicting them. The only Judge is God.

Volunteer Work
I do enjoy doing a lot of volunteer work, I help with many aspects of church where I attend, as well as using the abilities that God has given me to help others. On December 10th 2011, I assisted in running and managing the sound systems for a concert featuring three bands. Silent Chase, Wings of a Hero, and Loftland.
